The aim of this academic blog is to share information with specialists in the field, students, and the general public interested in the research project “Agents: Jesuit Procurators and Alternative Channels for Artistic Circulation in the Hispanic World.”
The entries include brief studies about people, objects and documents, and they also address issues that help identify and better understand the artistic networks that Jesuit procurators promoted in the Hispanic world during the early modern period. All texts are written by members of the project.
In the coming year, the Blog will also include a Dictionary of Objects Transported by Jesuit Procurators around the World and a Virtual Exhibition, currently under construction.
