ProJesArt invites you to join us to listen to Dr. Suzanne Karr Schmidt, Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts at Newberry Library (Chicago), discuss her research project on prints on fabric from the early modern period. This kind of object and printing technique has been little studied, and yet it circulated widely throughout the world, including through the mediation of Jesuit procurators sending such prints from different parts of Italy to Spain and the Iberian Americas.

ProJesArt tiene el placer de invitarles a asistir a una conferencia online de la Dra. Suzanne Karr Schmidt, Conservadora de Libros Raros y Manuscritos en la Biblioteca Newberry de Chicago, en la que presentará su proyecto de investigación sobre las impresiones en tela del período moderno temprano. Este tipo de objeto y técnica de impresión ha sido hasta ahora escasamente estudiado, a pesar de haber circulado ampliamente a nivel global, también gracias a la mediación de los procuradores jesuitas, quienes facilitaron su difusión enviando dichas impresiones desde distintas regiones de Italia hacia España y las Américas ibéricas.
